What to Expect in a Naturopathic Consultation?
A detailed patient history is taken to assess both your current health and past medical history.
Assessments are made using traditional diagnostic techniques as other less well-known techniques such as iridology, tongue and nail examinations.
Blood tests and other medical tests may also be recommended if required.
A treatment programme is prescribed to address your needs and lifestyle. Treatments may include herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, dietary modification and lifestyle recommendations.
If you are taking prescription medication, drug-herb-nutrient interactions will be taken into account.
With your consent, Madeleine will also liaise with your medical doctor or other allied health professionals, if required.
Initial consultations take one hour and follow-up consultations between 30 and 45 minutes.
An initial fertility consultation for a couple takes 90 minutes.
Fees
Initial consultation: $120
Follow-up consultation (standard): $65
Follow-up consultation (long): $80
Initial couples consultation (fertility): $180
Follow-up couples consultation (fertility): $120
EFTPOS facilities are available.
Cancellation fees: At least 24 hours notice by phone or by email is required should you need to cancel or change your appointment or a cancellation fee will be charged.

Madeleine David is registered with all Australian private health care funds. Contact your health care fund for specific rebate information.
