Clinical Nutrition
Good nutrition is the cornerstone of good health, physical, mental and emotional. Poor food choices can lead to a variety of deficiencies and chronic conditions. Similarly consuming food full of nutrients will increase vitality and well-being.

Increasingly scientific studies have found associations between food and illness/health. There is a growing body of evidence to support the use of food and nutritional supplements in the maintenance of health and in the treatment of disease.

It is also becoming more and more apparent that due to environmental and chemical pollutants, increasing stressful lifestyles and genetic problems many individuals may not be getting adequate vitamins, minerals and other trace elements in their diets despite adequate food intake.

Both diet and nutritional supplementation can be useful in helping those with chronic conditions or poor vitality to improve health.

Naturopaths identify dietary inadequacies and assist patients in addressing these through dietary changes and supplementation if necessary.
